Gil W0GBM was our 268th guest and though he
didn’t buy
additional door prize tickets, won a 20ft. green 16 ga. extension cord. First thru third prizes of
$100/50/50 merchandise certificates for D&L Antenna
went to Dave N0PHW, Paul WB0GXD, and Joe K0NEB from
Lincoln NE.
Many favorable reports were heard about our fest, and most included a reference to the building which was where Joe NEB went to junior high school. Besides the D&L display there were 55 tables full of equipment on the floor, and our club made money to cover Field Day expenses. Numerous rigs changed hands and Dave N0JSB picked up a bargain 35mm camera including 3 lenses. Newly licensed Dylan KC0RNV added an ICOM 2M mobile to his ICOM H/T list of equipment, making his signal into .82 far more readable. We’ll have a lot more info in the next issue of Printed Circuit newsletter. |
